THE VERGENNES OPERA HOUSE is located on the second floor of Vergennes’ City Hall on Main Street and is managed by the non-profit group, the Friends of the Vergennes Opera House (FVOH), a 100% volunteer organization with members dedicated to keeping the arts and community alive and thriving in the Little City.
MISSION & VISION
The Mission of the Friends of the Vergennes Opera House is to preserve the historic Vergennes Opera House as a center for the presentation of the arts and other activities that promote and celebrate a sense of community.
Our Vision is to be the glue that holds the spirit of the greater Vergennes community together.
Our Board of Directors passionately works to maintain our mission, along with the help of many volunteers and the support of underwriters and donors from throughout the region. Our vision informs everything we do, and we continually look for ways contribute to the big community spirit that is alive in the Little City.

Each member brings their special expertise to the organization as well as their commitment to the historic preservation, economic development, and fostering of the arts to the Vergennes-wide community.
